Human Development Initiatives Foundation (HDIF) was conceived in 1996. It had its first public event in 1997 and was registered as a not for profit organisation in 1998.
At Human Development Initiatives (HDI) Foundation, we believe that real change begins with people who care. Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our mission—dedicated individuals who give their time, skills, and energy to uplift vulnerable communities and promote human dignity.

- GET TO KNOW US – Check our website and think of how to help us improve
- DONATE – Make a donation to support our work.
Lifetime Volunteer
- FUND RAISER– Help raise funds to assist poor widows and other vulnerable
- FACEBOOK– We need a social media guru to grow our presence on Facebook
- COUNSELOR– Be a psychosocial Counsellor for vulnerable children, teens, adolescents, and widows. Send your profile so we can assess you.
- GRAPHIC DESIGN– Design promotional material for campaigns/events.
- LEGAL– Can you take on pro bono some cases for our clients or give your time for free legal services from time to time.
