HDI Staff
Human Development Initiatives Foundation (HDIF) was conceived in 1996. It had its first public event in 1997 and was registered as a not for profit organisation in 1998.
The main objectives of the organisation are to build human capacity with emphasis on development; promote human development ideals; propagate and disseminate information on human development ideals and civic education at the grassroots and other levels of education; engage in developmental/educational activities such as research studies, seminars, conferences, street law programmes; investigate social malaise, prepare reports and publication.
Folashade Ayeni – Executive Secretary
Folasade Ayeni possesses a Leaving Certificate and has further enhanced her skills through Basic and Advanced Computer Studies at the Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka, Lagos. She is proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CorelDRAW. Additionally, she has achieved stage 3 certification in professional typing speed from the Royal Society of Arts (RSA), Nigeria, demonstrating a typing speed of 120 words per minute.
Mrs. Ayeni has also completed the Advanced Management Course Training (AMC) at the Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka. She has participated in local and international training focused on adolescents, children, and women. Currently, she serves as Secretary and Assistant Administrative Officer.
Mrs. Esther Egbetunde - Program Officer
Mrs. Esther Egbetunde is a graduate of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, where she obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Office Technology and Management. Her academic background has equipped her with strong administrative and organizational skills.
She is proficient in a range of digital tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Canva, which she uses effectively for document creation, data management, and visual content design. Currently, Mrs. Egbetunde serves as a Program Officer at Human Development Initiatives (HDI), where she plays a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing programs that promote social impact and community development.
Mr. Peter Temitope - CBT Admin/Maintenance
Mr. Temitope Peter is a dedicated professional serving as both a Maintenance Officer and CBT Administrative Officer. With a School Leaving Certificate and strong hands-on experience, he ensures smooth facility operations and supports computer-based assessments with efficiency and reliability. Known for his problem-solving skills, adaptability, and commitment, he plays a vital role in maintaining a productive and supportive environment.
Miss Idowu Pedro - Program Officer
Miss Idowu Pedro is a dedicated and passionate development practitioner with a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking & Finance from the prestigious Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB). She currently serves as the Assistant Program Officer at Human Development Initiatives (HDI) Foundation, where she plays a vital role in planning, supporting, and implementing programs aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable populations, especially widows and their children.
Mrs. Tolulope Odusina - Receptionist
Mrs. Odusina Tolulope is currently pursuing a degree in Social Work at the University of Lagos, building on her academic foundation with a National Diploma in Business Administration. She serves as the Receptionist at Human Development Initiatives (HDI) Foundation, where she plays a key role as the organization’s first point of contact. With warmth and professionalism, Mrs. Odusina welcomes visitors, clients, and members of the public, ensuring a positive and organized front-office experience.
Mr. Oladipupo Folorunsho - Driver
Mr. Folorunsho Emmanuel is a reliable and experienced Driver at Human Development Initiatives (HDI) Foundation. With a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism, he plays a vital role in supporting the organization’s mobility and logistics needs. Mr. Emmanuel is known for his excellent driving skills, thorough knowledge of road safety regulations, and ability to navigate efficiently across various routes. He ensures that staff, materials, and resources are transported securely and on time, contributing to the smooth execution of HDI’s programs and outreach activities.
