S. Johnson Ibidapo - Research and Program Officer
Johnson Ibidapo is a trained Psychologist, Counsellor and Human Resources Manager with excellent management, communication and people skills. His experience in counselling and managing people spans over 13 years, while his stint with the development world dates back to 2010 during his compulsory National Youth Service in Obudu, Cross River State. Johnson is an academic, with publications in academic journals, including the online Academia.edu; he also has some award-winning proposals to his credit. Johnson holds a Master’s degree in Social/Industrial Psychology from the prestigious University of Lagos and currently leads the Media Department of the Human Development Initiatives. He believes in the future of an ideal Nigeria where development ideals are prioritized and corruption is anathema. Johnson hopes in the near future to contribute to national development through his researches on the Social Psychology of Corruption. He also mentors several youths and adolescents from all over.
Adetayo Adelana .S. - Media Officer
Adetayo Adelana S. is an Educationalist and Social Media Expert who holds a Diploma in Education Psychology, Bachelors degree in Education Yoruba; and a Masters degree in Educational Management from University of Lagos. Adetayo also holds a certificate in Data Presentation, Data Analyses and Script Writing. He is currently the Media officer and Asst. Programme officer with Human Development Initiatives. He has a book titled “Unveiling your Potential” which was published 2014. He has the initiative to make any organisation a better place than he met it.
Folashade Ayeni - Senior Secretariat & Administration Assistant
Apart from the School Leaving Certificate that Folasade Ayeni has acquired, she has undergone both Basic and Advanced Computer Studies at the Federal College of Education (Technical) Akoka, Lagos, Nigeria. She has also passed stage 3 of the professional typing speed examination of the Royal Society of Art (R.S.A.), Nigeria which signifies that she can type 120 words per minute. Mrs. Ayeni has participated in both local and international trainings targeted at adolescents, children and women.
Victoria Ngozi Uzoma - Legal Officer
VICTORIA NGOZI UZOMA is a lawyer with over 7 years experience in legal practice. She obtained her law degree from the University of Abuja, Federal Capital Territory. She is currently undergoing her masters program in Law with University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos. Victoria believes that everyone has rights and that human rights are inalienable. Prior to joining HDI, Victoria has worked with other Non-governmental organizations as Legal Officer and Mentor.
Tosin Adesile - Contract Media Officer
With experience in broadcast, print and online media, Tosin Adesile, holds a Bachelors and Master’s Degree of the Department of Mass Communication, University of Lagos, Nigeria. Tosin belongs to the Cohort 1 of the Bloomberg executive diploma in Financial Journalism facilitated by Lagos Business School and the University of Lagos. An author of Short Stories and Academic books has written over eight books and numerous academic papers which include: The Little Orphan and other Stories, “Seidu the Youth Corper”, Go and Sin no more, Current Trends in Newspaper and Magazine, The School leavers and a host of others. Adesile began his media career from NTA Abeokuta and has worked as a producer, corps member, freelance-Journalist and full Staff of the following media organization- Ogun State Television(OGTV)Abeokuta, The Nation Newspaper(Lagos), Enugu State Broadcasting Service(ESBS)Enugu, The Advocate Newspaper, Enugu and Unilag F.M 103.1. A member of the Nigerian union of Journalist and Association of Nigerian Authors publishes Sparklight Magazine, a quarterly soft sell magazine. Adesile is a faculty member at the department of Mass Communication to the School of part time Studies, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, and he is currently a Media Adjunct at Human Development Initiatives, a leading non-for-profit Non-Governmental Organization located in Lagos State, Nigeria.
